HOLLY, Michigan – For the fourth consecutive year, Patterson Elementary School will be hosting the “Patterson Coat Closet,” a place where anyone in need can get coats, gloves, boots and hats, all for free, and just in time for the cold winds of winter. It all happens from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12 in the gymnasium of Patterson Elementary School, 3231 Grange Hall Road. Serving as chairperson for this year’s event is Patterson Elementary School parent Tara Peters. “People can drop off new or gently used coats, hats, mittens and boots in any one of our drop boxes at Citizens Bank, Dairy Queen or at Patterson Elementary School in Holly,” Peters said. Although she’s hoping to have all contributions by Dec. 8, Peters said donations will be accepted through Friday, Dec. 11. For more information about the Patterson Coat Closet, contact Patterson Elementary School at (248) 328-3700. |
