HOLLY, Michigan - Spirited Holly High School fans cheered in the stands as the Holly boys’ varsity basketball team defeated the Brandon Blackhawks to end Friday’s Snowcoming week on a high note.

Holly took the lead early in the game, ending the first quarter with a score of 19 to 14. The Bronchos kept the lead throughout the second quarter, ending with a 3-point lead over the Blackhawks at the half.

Brandon rallied in the third quarter, narrowing the Bronchos lead by just 1 point, but it wasn't enough as the Bronchos powered through the fourth quarter, ending with a win of 69-59 over the Blackhawks.

The win marked the end of Holly High School’s spirit week. Competing classes dressed up all week in crazy attire ranging from famous Disney characters to pajamas. The winners of the 2013 Snowcoming Spirit Week celebration was the senior class, followed the juniors, the sophomores and freshmen.
