HAS school board to hold public hearing on bullying policy

HOLLY, Michigan – The Holly Area Schools Board of Education will be holding a public hearing on proposed policy 5517.01 on bullying and other aggressive behavior toward students at 6:45 p.m. on Monday, April 9.

The hearing will allow HAS stakeholders to offer comments on the proposed board policy as written by Northeastern Ohio Leadership Association (NEOLA) of Michigan. NEOLA is the firm  that the HAS district utilizes for the process of reviewing and revising board policies.

The meeting is open to the public and will be held in the Holly Middle School auditorium on the Karl Richter Campus, 920 Baird St., Holly.  The board is expected to approve the policy’s first reading later that evening during the regularly scheduled board meeting.
