DAVISBURG, Michigan –  It truly was neighbors for neighbors last week as volunteers, area businesses and members of the community rallied together for Neighbor For Neighbor’s “Spring Treasures and Treats” fundraiser held on May 14-15 in Davisburg.

Executive Director for Neighbor for Neighbor Ruth Karash said the many generous donations, baked goods and time given by local volunteers enabled the organization to raise $2,481.45.  “We just want to say thank you to everyone who shopped at our sale and contributed to its success,” she said.

Neighbor for Neighbor is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to helping provide basic necessities to the needy of North Oakland County, including food, clothing, assistance with utility bills, evictions and other family emergencies.
