Holly council approves manager salary increase

HOLLY, Michigan – Village Manager Jerry Walker will be taking home  a few more dollars with every paycheck as Holly Village Council member approved the Finance Committee’s recommendation to grant Walker a 2-percent salary increase.

In May, Walker received his Manager’s Evaluation by council members where he was assessed in several areas including personal characteristics, managerial performance, and job responsibilities. Walker averaged 4.119 points out of 5 overall on the evaluation.

Council unanimously approved Village President Jeff Miller’s motion for Walker to receive the increase, boosting his annual income from $80,000 to $81,600.
