HOLLY, Michigan – The Holly Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors are once again teaming with Holly Area Youth Assistance (HAYA) in sponsoring a school supply drive.

Collecting everything from backpacks to paper and pencils to scissors, glue sticks and more, the goal is to make sure no needy Holly Area Schools student is left behind without school supplies to start the academic year.

HAYA caseworker Gail Innis said those willing to establish school supply drop boxes in their places of business are asked to call her office so that the location can be included in the list of drop sites.  Additionall, Innis said drop boxes can be obtained by calling the HAYA office at (248) 328-3181.

School supplies will be collected through Aug. 31. Cash donations or store gift cards are also accepted, and can be mailed to the Holly Area Youth Assistance, Attn: School Supplies Drive, 920 E. Baird Street, Holly, MI 48442.

For a complete list of drop box locations and needed school supplies, visit HAYA on-line at http://youth-assistance.holly.schoolfusion.us.
