Reunion with a Cause rescheduled for September

HOLLY, Michigan – Reunion with a Cause organizers announced that this year’s event has officially been rescheduled to occur on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012 from 4 – 8 p.m. at neighboring churches, Calvary United Methodist Church, 15010 N. Holly Rd., and the First Baptist Church of Holly. 15030 N. Holly Rd., Holly.

Reunion with a Cause is a partnership between the community of Holly and the Genesys Health Foundation in which 100 percent of the donations is used to help cancer patients with their physical and emotional needs during treatment including medications, medical equipment, rental equipment, private pay aides, and transportation to and from cancer treatments not covered by insurance.

“Plans are in the works to make this a great afternoon and evening of fun for everyone including entertainment, raffles, drawings, and children’s games and activities,” event coordinator Ellen Pease said.  A dinner for cancer survivors and a luminary walk are also planned, Pease said.
