Area election results produce few changes |

HOLLY, Michigan - Participation in Tuesday's primary election was fairly low, with most area precincts reporting a 10-20 percent voter turn out. Several precincts in Springfield and Rose Townships, however, reported a 30-40 percent voter turnout. Either way, the voters have spoken, electing new people in some municipalities, and leaving things the way are in others. HOLLY TOWNSHIP
It was somewhat of an upset in Rose Township as supervisor challenger Paul Gambka defeated Interim Supervisor Glen Noble by a margin of just 39 votes. Noble was appointed in December of 2011 to serve as Rose Township’s interim supervisor following former Supervisor Alison Kalcec’s resignation.
