HOLLY, Michigan – In a press release dated July 10, 2012, the Holly Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating an individual who may be a danger to area youth.

According to the report, a teenage boy was approached in the downtown area of Holly by an unknown Caucasian male on Thursday, July 5. Driving a white 4-door Oldsmobile Alero with a sunroof, the suspect repeatedly asked the juvenile if he would like a ride. The suspect left the area quickly after recognizing that another citizen was watching the incident take place.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 50 years old with “slicked back” gray hair. A walking cane was also seen lying across the passenger side of the vehicle.

Detective Julie Bemus of the Holly Police Department said a similar incident with a suspect having a similar description was reported to the Michigan State Police in Fowlerville last week.

Anyone having any information on this matter is asked to contact Bemus at (248) 634-8211.
