Movies in the Village will pre... HOLLY, Michigan – With Thanksgiving 2011 already fading fast into the rearview mirror, Black Friday enthusiasts will be happy to know that they need not go any further than downtown Holly to find good deals, good food, and good entertainment this weekend.
Black Friday Stores and restaurants in downtown Holly will be open for business on Friday, offering deals of all kinds. Whatever you’re looking for - antiques, trendy new or upscale consignment clothing, Michigan-made products, soy candles, repurposed furniture, a great meal or gift certificates for spa treatments – you’re certain to find it in downtown Holly this weekend.
At 6 p.m., Holly’s Family of the Year, Carl and Shirley Roos will be on hand for the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in front of the Village Offices, 202 S. Saginaw St., Holly.
Saturday & Sunday While shopping opportunities will go on in downtown Holly on Saturday and Sunday, kids will have the opportunity to have Breakfast and Photos with Santa at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26 and at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 27 at the Great Lakes Artisan Village Theatre, 111 S. Saginaw St.
In addition to breakfast and photos, kids can get revved up for Christmas by watching the holiday classic “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.”

Kids and adults alike love vis... The Detroit Model Railroad Club, 104 N. Saginaw St. will be open from noon – 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 25, Saturday, Nov. 26 and Sunday, Nov. 27. Adult admission is $5, kids 5-18 get in for $2 and kids 4 and under are free.
The Hadley House Museum, 306 S. Saginaw St. will be open from 1 – 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 27. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.
