The Holly Express began its journey in the summer of 2009, and since then, the readership has gone from a couple hundred readers per day, to nearly 1,300 on average.  Monthly hits on The Holly Express have surpassed the million mark for the last six months running – a real milestone of which I’m very proud.

The truth is, I’m pretty much a one woman show here. Not only do I own The Holly Express, but I do most of the editing, I do all of the postings of the articles, pictures and ads that you see, and I do the lion’s share of the writing, attending as many local meetings and community events that I can – all in an effort to keep residents informed of what’s going on in the Holly community.

Initially, my friend and colleague Vera Hogan was the active Editor for The Holly Express. Over the last year or so, she has decided to return to her roots by actively selling real estate in the Fenton area, and thereby limiting the time she can invest in this endeavor. While I’m left to do most of the editing on my own now, I appreciate the time and effort Vera put into The Holly Express, and wish her well in her new business venture.

In the meantime, I’m staying on track to accomplish what Vera and I originally set out to do – providing solid, accurate and thorough articles on events that matter to Holly area residents.

Thank you for your support. I look forward to making many exciting improvements to the website in the months ahead, and to offering additional options for my readers and advertisers.
